ALAM STUDIO Start a film

Studio

A one-person
film studio.

Run out of the UK. Small on purpose — you deal with the person making the film.

Alam Studio makes short commercial films using generative tools, finished by hand. The point is not novelty. The point is that a small brand can have a film that looks like it cost five figures, for the price of a photographer's half day, and have it inside a week.

What that rules out: crowds, brand-critical human faces, and anything where a real camera in a real room is the honest answer. What it is very good at: objects, light, liquid, food, texture, and spaces. Motion design — type on the beat, graphic lines, speed ramps, the grade — is not a separate service; it is the finishing layer on every film that leaves here. The work on this site is concept work made to prove the technique — client films replace it as it lands.

Process

  1. 01

    Brief

One call or one email. We settle the product, the audience, the platform it runs on and the look.

  2. 02

    Board

Every shot built as a still first and sent to you. Nothing moves until you approve the frames.

  3. 03

    Film

The approved frames become the film. One revision round is included after the first cut; technical errors are corrected separately at no extra cost.

Pricing

First film

£395one-off

One 15-second film, plus your brand asset built and locked so every later film matches it exactly. All four aspect ratios. Yours to keep.

Eight a month

£595per month

Why it costs this: there is no shoot day, no crew, no studio hire and no location. The saving is real and it is passed on. Campaign and launch work is quoted by project. Prices in GBP, excluding VAT (not currently registered). Half up front on the first film, monthly thereafter, payment within seven days.

Questions

Is this actually AI?

Yes, and it is stated on every deliverable. The films are generated, then cut, graded and typeset by hand. If you need a real product in a real room with a real camera, this is the wrong studio and I will tell you so.

What do you need from me?

A short brief — ten minutes on a call or a form you fill in — plus photographs. For product, food and drink: three to six shots of the thing from different angles, and your logo. For property: the listing photographs. Phone photos are fine. The brief also asks which platforms it runs on, so the film is framed correctly for each one from the start.

How long does it take?

Shot board inside 48 hours of the brief. Finished film two to four days after you approve the board. Faster is possible and costs more, because it means dropping something else.

How many changes are included?

One revision round on the board and one on the film. Technical errors — the product is not your product, the colour is wrong — are corrected separately at no extra cost and are not counted as a round.

Who owns the film?

You do, for commercial use in perpetuity, on delivery of final payment. I keep the right to show it in this portfolio unless you ask me not to, which is a fair request and free to make.

Why is this so much cheaper than an agency?

Because the cost of a commercial is mostly the shoot — crew, kit, studio, location, a day of everyone's time. None of that exists here. What is left is the concepting, the build and the finishing, which is the part you are actually paying for. It is not a discount and it is not a cut-down version of the work on this site.

What does a monthly plan actually get me?

Ads stop working once people have seen them. The first film builds and locks your brand asset; every month after that you get new films off it — different hooks, openings and endings — so there is always fresh creative to put into testing.

Do you run the ads or report on performance?

No. I supply the creative, not the media buying, and I do not report on leads or return on ad spend. Anyone promising you those numbers without touching your ad account is guessing.

Can you work under our agency's name?

Yes. White-label is fine and fairly common. Same prices.
